Personalities including Dame Dame Julie Walters, Dame Joanna Lumley, Elaine Paige, Dame Dame Judi Dench, Lisa Riley and Les Dennis have collaborated with Macmillan Cancer Support to help promote the charity's World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraising event, asking the public to #raiseamug on social media.

The flagship event takes place September 29, and Marks and Spencer has created an exclusive range of homeware items for the fundraiser, from which 10% of sales will be donated to Macmillan. Walters commented 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning is ingenious, simple and fun and is all about people coming together. Whether it's friends and family, or colleagues at work, getting involved is easy and you’ll be doing something extraordinary to help Macmillan support people living with cancer'.
